Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Patrimony, you agree to these Terms of Service. Patrimony is operated by Gabriele Denaro, an individual based in Italy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Patrimony is a personal net worth tracking tool. You manually log balances for accounts you define, and the app visualizes and analyzes the numbers you enter.

Patrimony does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing in the app — including charts, benchmark comparisons, projections, the Goal Calculator, or the Simulator — is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. All figures are plain arithmetic derived from the data you enter; always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

The Simulator shows how a hypothetical past investment would have performed, based on published calendar-year returns for the instruments listed in it. These results are a simulation, not a reconstruction of real daily prices, and they are provided for educational purposes only.

Some financial instruments are named in the app purely to make such simulations concrete. Naming an instrument is not a recommendation, endorsement, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell it, and implies no relationship between Patrimony and its issuer. We are not affiliated with, paid by, or acting on behalf of any issuer.

Past performance does not predict future results, and the value of an investment can go down as well as up. Return figures are collected from publicly available sources and refreshed periodically; while we take care to keep them accurate, we do not warrant that they are error-free or up to date, and you should verify any figure against the issuer's official documentation before relying on it.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Patrimony. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. The data you enter is your responsibility — Patrimony has no way to verify the accuracy of balances you type in.

Premium is billed monthly or annually through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings — access continues until the end of the paid period. A 7-day free trial is available once per account; it converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before it ends.

Gift/redemption codes granting Premium access are issued at our discretion and are not a form of payment; they carry no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund.

As a digital service that begins immediately at your request, you acknowledge that your EU right of withdrawal may not apply once the paid or trial period has started, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Referral rewards (Settings → Invite a friend) are granted at our discretion once a referred user activates a paid subscription, are subject to a maximum number of rewarded referrals per account, carry no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for a refund. We may withhold or reverse a reward obtained through fake accounts, abuse, or other bad-faith use of the program.

You agree not to misuse the service — this includes attempting to access another user's data, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering the app beyond what applicable law permits, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.

The Patrimony name, logo, and application code are the property of Gabriele Denaro. The data you enter remains yours — we claim no ownership over it. You can delete your financial data yourself at any time (Settings → Danger Zone); to request a full export of your personal data, contact us as described in our Privacy Policy.

Patrimony is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free calculations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gabriele Denaro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including financial decisions made based on data displayed in the app.

You may stop using Patrimony at any time. You can delete your financial data yourself from Settings → Danger Zone; to delete your account entirely, contact us. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Patrimony after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.
