Simulator

What a past investment would have done — a simulation on published yearly returns, not investment advice.

Global equities — developed and emerging markets.

How this is calculated

This is a simulation built from published calendar-year returns, not a reconstruction of real daily prices. Past returns say nothing about future ones. Patrimony does not provide investment advice and does not recommend any instrument — naming one here is not a suggestion to buy it.

With a monthly plan, each year's payments are treated as if made mid-year, since only yearly returns are available.

Returns are published in USD and converted to EUR using real ECB year-end rates, so the result reflects what a EUR investor would have experienced.

"Real gain" deflates the simulated value using published annual inflation (Eurostat, HICP euro area annual average), to show how much of the result reflects an actual increase in purchasing power rather than rising prices. This figure has not yet been verified against the primary statistical release.
